Seattle Seahawks Schedule

Seattle Seahawks 2013 ScheduleThe Seattle Seahawks were one of the biggest surprises in the league in 2012. Not much was expected from them as they decided to start a rookie quarterback in Russell Wilson. Well, Wilson made a huge name for himself in guiding the Seahawks to an 11-5 record and a playoff berth. Seattle would go on the road and defeat the Washington Redskins before falling short in the closing seconds against the Atlanta Falcons in the NFC Divisional Round.

With Wilson and the offense ever-improving, and one of the best defenses in the league, the Seahawks are primed to contend for a Lombardi Trophy in 2013. These players absolutely love playing for Pete Carroll, who made a big splash this offseason and traded for Percy Harvin to give this offense another weapon. There’s no question that this is going to be one of the teams to beat in the NFC.

Seattle will be up against the 11th-toughest schedule in 2013. Its opponents combined for a 130-122-4 record and a 51.6 winning percentage last season. The Seahawks are set to do battle against the AFC South and NFC South divisions. They also will take on the Minnesota Vikings and New York Giants due to finishing second in the NFC West division in 2012.

The oddsmakers at Cantor gaming are absolutely huge on the Seahawks in 2013. They are an underdog in just one game, which is a 2-point dog at San Francisco. They are a pick ‘em in one as well, which will be their rematch at Atlanta in Week 10. I certainly believe there’s some value in fading the Seattle in 2013 against the spread, though I do believe it is capable of winning 11 games again this season.
